Cass County ATOD Safety Solutions will host a prescription drug take back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22.
The following locations are only open during National Drug Take Back Day:
- Howard Township Hall, 1345 Barron Lake Road, Niles
- Marcellus Township Hall, 13163 Marcellus Highway, Marcellus
Red Med boxes will be accessible during this time at Ontwa/Edwardsburg Police Department, Dowagiac Family Fare, and Pokagon Health Center.
Free boxes of opioid overdose reversal medication naloxone (Narcan), is available at Woodlands Austin Street Campus, 1124 Austin St., Cassopolis.
For those unable to drop off unused medications during the event, permanent Red Med boxes are available at the following sites:
- Ontwa/Edwardsburg Police Department, 26296 E. Main, Edwardsburg
- 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday
- 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday
- Pokagon Tribal Health Center, 58620 Sink Road, Dowagiac
- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday
- Dowagiac Police Department, 241 S. Front St., Dowagiac
- 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

- 6 a.m. to midnight, 7 days
