Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The Cass County GIS Department uses modern geospatial technology to collect, manage, analyze, and share geographic information that supports county government and the communities we serve. We transform complex data into practical, accessible resources, including digital maps, interactive web applications, and mobile mapping tools.
Our work supports a wide range of public services, including 911 emergency response, addressing, Conservation District, elections, land records, infrastructure and utility mapping, planning, parks, and Remonumentation. We help government agencies make informed decisions, improve operations, plan for the future, and better understand communities in Cass County.
We collaborate with County departments, municipalities, regional partners, and the public to maintain reliable geographic information, preserve important historical records, and make useful data more accessible. Our goal is to provide the mapping, technology, and spatial insight that help Cass County operate effectively and serve its residents.
